Marc Ganetakos is one of Canada’s most respected entertainment professionals.

He has written several TV themes (CHCH), short film scores (CBC), jingles (Amnesty Intl., Rogers Home Phone) and is currently composing music in a variety of genres for multiple terrestrial broadcasters.

As a musician, Marc Ganetakos provides session guitarist/multi-instrumentalist services for individual songs, full albums, and jingles. Marc may be best known as the lead guitarist/multi-instrumentalist for Nelly Furtado (guitar/banjo/mandolin) and Ashley Macisaac (guitar), but he has also performed in a variety of theatrical-production shows in some of Canada’s premiere live music venues (Toronto’s Royal Alexandra and Ed Mirvish Theatres, Niagara Falls Fallsview Casino).

Marc Ganetakos collaborates with a wide variety of artists in multiple musical genres and in diverse creative disciplines. He is currently the principal guitarist for the legendary Canadian rock band Lighthouse, and is a part-time music educator.
